Description
14 Hands Merlot is a red wine from 14 Hands, a Washington State winery named after the wild horses of the region. Merlot is its easygoing, round side, made for drinking young.
Expect rich aromas and flavors of blackberry, plum and cherry with a hint of mocha. The structure is soft but supportive, and the finish is smooth and gently spiced.
Pair it with roast chicken, pork tenderloin, burgers or pasta in a tomato sauce. Serve at slightly below room temperature. Pair it with hearty dishes such as grilled meats, pasta in tomato sauce or a cheese board. A large, rounded glass lets the wine open up and shows off its aromas.
