Description
19 Crimes The Warden is a complex red wine from the 19 Crimes brand, named in homage to the British who oversaw the first Australian colonists.
The wine shows black cherry, dark berries and chocolate on the nose and palate. It has a deep, dark red hue and a full, rich body.
It pairs with pork chops, duck confit and chocolate cake, and works nicely with steak or aged cheeses. Serve at room temperature. It pairs easily with light dishes, from salads and seafood to creamy pasta and soft cheeses. A medium glass with a slight taper keeps the aromas concentrated. Serve at about 45 to 50 F, chilled but not ice cold, so the aromas stay lively.
