Description
400 Conejos Joven is an unaged (joven) mezcal from Oaxaca, named for the 400 rabbits of Aztec lore, the gods of drunkenness.
Expect a clear spirit with aromas of smoked pineapple, coriander, melon rind and olive tapenade, followed by a lean, crisp palate with an earthy, smoky finish. Traditional mezcal is typically roasted in earthen pits, which accounts for the signature smokiness that sets it apart from tequila.
