Description
400 Conejos Joven Espadín is a joven mezcal made from 100% Espadín agave in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is a lightly smoky, approachable mezcal that is a good first step into the category.
Expect soft smoke and roasted agave, with notes of citrus, light tropical fruit and a clean, gently earthy finish. Unaged tequila keeps the character of the agave front and center, with cooked agave, citrus peel and a touch of black pepper typical of the style.
Sip it neat from a small glass with orange slices, or use it in a smoky Margarita, Paloma or Negroni variation. It is equally at home in a Margarita, Paloma or Ranch Water as it is served neat in a small glass or over one large ice cube.
