Description
Alexana Pinot Gris is a white wine from Alexana, an Oregon winery known for cool-climate wines in the Willamette Valley.
Pinot Gris from Oregon is usually fresh and aromatic, with pear, apple and citrus flavors, a touch of floral character and crisp acidity. The finish is clean and mineral.
Serve well chilled with salmon, shellfish, salads, roast chicken or soft cheeses. It pairs easily with light dishes, from salads and seafood to creamy pasta and soft cheeses. A medium glass with a slight taper keeps the aromas concentrated. Serve at about 45 to 50 F, chilled but not ice cold, so the aromas stay lively.
