Description
Alfred Giraud is a French single malt whisky crafted in the Charente region, home to Cognac, using traditional copper pot stills and matured in French oak casks. The result is a malt whisky with a distinctly French character, bridging the traditions of Scotch single malt production and Cognac craftsmanship.
Expect a nose of orchard fruit and vanilla, a palate of honey and soft baking spice, and a smooth, gently oaked finish. It's an interesting choice for whisky drinkers curious about single malt made outside Scotland.
