Description
Alma del Jaguar Mizunara is part of the brand's limited-edition Barricas Series, an añejo tequila made from 100% additive-free blue agave and rested for 22 months in virgin Japanese mizunara oak casks.
The rare mizunara wood adds sandalwood, incense and gentle oriental spice alongside honey and cooked agave. Unaged tequila keeps the character of the agave front and center, with cooked agave, citrus peel and a touch of black pepper typical of the style.
An exceptionally smooth, complex sipping tequila, best enjoyed neat. It is equally at home in a Margarita, Paloma or Ranch Water as it is served neat in a small glass or over one large ice cube.
