Description
Alma del Jaguar Orange is part of the brand's limited-edition Barricas Series, an añejo tequila made from 100% additive-free blue agave and finished for 19 months in ex-Vino de Naranja casks from Spain.
The finish brings out candied orange peel, citrus and vanilla over the tequila's cooked-agave core. Unaged tequila keeps the character of the agave front and center, with cooked agave, citrus peel and a touch of black pepper typical of the style.
Best enjoyed neat to appreciate its bright, citrus-forward cask character. It is equally at home in a Margarita, Paloma or Ranch Water as it is served neat in a small glass or over one large ice cube.
