Description
Alma del Jaguar Ruby is part of the brand's limited-edition Barricas Series, an añejo tequila made from 100% additive-free blue agave and finished for 19 months in ex-Ruby Port casks from Portugal.
The Port cask adds red fruit, almond and caramel notes to the cooked-agave base. Unaged tequila keeps the character of the agave front and center, with cooked agave, citrus peel and a touch of black pepper typical of the style.
A rich, dessert-leaning expression best enjoyed neat or after dinner. It is equally at home in a Margarita, Paloma or Ranch Water as it is served neat in a small glass or over one large ice cube.
