Description
Alvides Tempranillo is a Spanish red wine made from Tempranillo, the signature red grape of Spain.
Expect red cherry and plum with notes of leather, vanilla and spice. Tempranillo is usually medium-bodied with soft tannins and a warm, smooth finish.
Serve at room temperature with tapas, grilled meats, paella, chorizo or aged cheeses. Pair it with hearty dishes such as grilled meats, pasta in tomato sauce or a cheese board. A large, rounded glass lets the wine open up and shows off its aromas. Serve at about 60 to 65 F and open the bottle 15 to 30 minutes ahead so the aromas can develop.
