Description
Apothic Dark is a California red blend from Apothic, crafted in a bold, smooth style. It is one of the more indulgent wines in the lineup.
The wine offers layered flavors of blackberry, dark cherry, coffee and a touch of chocolate, with a velvety finish. It is rich and decadent without being heavy.
Serve at room temperature with burgers, barbecue, pasta or dark chocolate desserts. It pairs easily with light dishes, from salads and seafood to creamy pasta and soft cheeses. A medium glass with a slight taper keeps the aromas concentrated. Serve at about 45 to 50 F, chilled but not ice cold, so the aromas stay lively.
