Description
Ararat Akhtamar is an Armenian brandy aged 10 years, from the Ararat brand of Yerevan. This is a 750ml bottle. Armenia has one of the world's oldest brandy-making traditions, and the Yerevan style is known for smooth, rounded character.
A decade in oak brings depth, with dried fruit, caramel and gentle oak spice over a smooth, warm finish. Brandy is distilled from fermented fruit, typically grapes, and aged in oak. Expect warm notes of dried fruit, caramel and gentle oak spice with a smooth, mellow finish.
Sip neat at room temperature or over a single large ice cube, or use it in classic brandy cocktails such as the Sidecar. Store upright in a cool, dark place. It also makes a thoughtful gift for brandy fans and collectors.
