Description
Axel des Vignes Bordeaux is a red wine from Bordeaux, France, made in the classic regional style from a blend that typically centers on Merlot and Cabernet.
Expect blackcurrant, plum and cedar with soft tannins and a balanced, easy finish. It is a good everyday Bordeaux.
Serve at room temperature with roast chicken, grilled meats, lamb or hard cheeses. Pair it with hearty dishes such as grilled meats, pasta in tomato sauce or a cheese board. A large, rounded glass lets the wine open up and shows off its aromas. Serve at about 60 to 65 F and open the bottle 15 to 30 minutes ahead so the aromas can develop.
