Description
Balblair 12 Year is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Balblair distillery. The Non Cask in the title is retained as listed. It is a bottle for people who enjoy whisky and like to know what is in the glass.
Tasting notes cite zesty lemon peel and crisp green apples, with aromatic ground spices and dried orange slices. With a drop of water the aromas open up further and the texture softens, so it rewards a slow pour and a clean tulip or Glencairn glass.
Sip it neat or with a few drops of water. It makes a good aperitif and pairs well with soft cheese. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place, and pour it at room temperature to get the full range of aromas.
