Description
Barkan Vineyards' Classic Merlot is a fruit-forward, easy-drinking kosher red from Israel, made from Merlot and certified OU kosher.
Expect ripe dark berry and plum notes with a soft, velvety texture and a smooth, lightly oaked finish.
Serve at room temperature with roast chicken, grilled meats, pasta or on its own. Pair it with hearty dishes such as grilled meats, pasta in tomato sauce or a cheese board. A large, rounded glass lets the wine open up and shows off its aromas. Serve at about 60 to 65 F and open the bottle 15 to 30 minutes ahead so the aromas can develop.
