Description
Blue Ash Farm Bourbon #5 is a small-batch American bourbon with a classic bourbon character. As a numbered batch release, it offers a slightly different expression from each release in the series.
Expect caramel, vanilla and oak, smooth and approachable on the palate with a warm, gently spiced finish. Bourbon must be made from at least 51 percent corn and aged in new charred oak, which is where its sweetness and vanilla character come from.
Serve neat or over a large cube to appreciate the grain and oak, or use it in an Old Fashioned, Manhattan or Whiskey Sour. It pairs well with smoked meats, dark chocolate and aged cheeses.
