Description
Bravdo Merlot is a full-bodied red aged for 12 months in oak barrels, mostly French and some American, from the Bravdo winery in Israel.
In the style typical of Merlot, expect ripe plum, black cherry and a touch of vanilla, with soft, rounded tannins and a smooth, easygoing finish.
Serve lightly cooled, around 60-65°F. It is an easy match for roast chicken, pasta with red sauce, burgers and mild cheeses. Let the bottle open up for a few minutes in the glass or a decanter to bring out the best of its aromas. It is a dependable choice for dinner parties, holiday tables and quiet weeknight meals alike.
