Description
Campari is an iconic Italian bitter aperitivo with a vivid red color and a complex bittersweet profile of herbs and fruit. It is the backbone of the Negroni and the Americano.
Expect bitter orange, herbs and spice on the nose, a bittersweet palate and a long, dry finish. It is a classic bittersweet style, enjoyed both before dinner to open the appetite and after dinner as a digestif.
Mix a classic Negroni with equal parts gin, Campari and sweet vermouth, or lengthen it with soda and an orange slice. Serve it cool, and garnish with a citrus peel for added aroma. The 375ml half-bottle is a good fit for trying it out or for a smaller bar.
