Description
Cardhu 14 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the Cardhu distillery, matured for a minimum of 14 years in oak casks. Known for a lighter, approachable style, it's one of the founding malts behind the Johnnie Walker blends.
The nose offers fresh pear and green apple with a touch of vanilla, leading to a sweet, malty palate with soft oak and a fruity, gently warming finish. Bottled at 40% ABV.
Sip neat or with a few drops of water to open up the aromas; a tulip-shaped glass at room temperature is ideal. It pairs well with dark chocolate, nuts and mature cheese.
