Description
Casamigos Añejo is an añejo tequila made from Blue Weber agave and aged for 14 months. The brand was co-founded by George Clooney. This 1L bottle is a good value size.
Expect soft caramel and vanilla with the natural sweetness of the agave, layered with barrel oak and subtle hints of spice, finishing in a lingering, smooth finish. Extended time in oak builds a richer, rounder style, with caramel, vanilla and toasted wood layered over the cooked agave, and a warm, smooth finish.
Enjoy it neat or on the rocks, or use it as the base for a premium Old Fashioned-style cocktail. It is best sipped neat or over a single large ice cube, and it also makes a refined base for an Old Fashioned-style cocktail.
