Description
Château Montroc is a classic Right Bank, Merlot-heavy Bordeaux blend aged for 18 months in oak.
In the style typical of Bordeaux reds, expect blackcurrant, plum and cedar with notes of tobacco and spice, structured tannins and a long, savory finish.
Serve at around 60-65°F, ideally after a short time in a decanter. It pairs well with roast lamb, steak, duck and aged cheeses. Let the bottle open up for a few minutes in the glass or a decanter to bring out the best of its aromas. It is a dependable choice for dinner parties, holiday tables and quiet weeknight meals alike.
