Description
Chivas Regal Mizunara Cask Finish is a blended Scotch finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks. Mizunara is a rare oak known for adding distinctive aromatics.
Mizunara oak is known for notes of sandalwood, incense, coconut and gentle spice, layered over Chivas's smooth, honeyed blend. Blends combine malt and grain whiskies from several distilleries, which is why they tend to be consistent from bottle to bottle. Because blends draw on many casks, the flavor stays consistent from bottle to bottle.
Enjoy neat, over ice, or with soda in a Highball; it also makes a dependable base for a Rob Roy or Rusty Nail. Pair it with smoked salmon, roast chicken or a simple cheese board.
