Description
Contessa Platinum Asti is a sweet, aromatic Italian sparkling wine made in the Asti style of Piedmont. It is a light, festive bottle that is easy to enjoy and easy to share.
The Asti style is built on aromatic Moscato grapes. Expect peach, apricot, orange blossom and honeysuckle on the nose, a gently sweet, fruity palate and a bright, lively mousse. Like most sweet sparklers, it is meant to be enjoyed young and well chilled, when the fruit is at its most fragrant and the bubbles lift the sweetness so the finish stays fresh.
Serve well chilled with fruit, light desserts or soft cheeses, or enjoy it on its own as a gentle after-dinner sparkler.
