Description
Cragganmore Distillers Edition is a Speyside single malt from Diageo's Classic Malts range, given a secondary maturation ("double matured") in Ruby Port pipes after its initial ageing in oak casks, adding depth to Cragganmore's naturally complex character. Expect notes of dried fruit, toffee, and warm spice layered over Cragganmore's signature smoky, savory backbone, with a rich, lingering finish from the port cask influence. Bottled at 40% ABV.
Sip neat or with a few drops of water to open up the aromas; a tulip-shaped glass at room temperature is ideal. It pairs well with dark chocolate, nuts and mature cheese.
