Description
Cricova Muscat Sparkling is a sweet, aromatic sparkling wine from Cricova, Moldova's famed winery with its extensive underground cellars. It is made in the Muscat style, which is known for its perfume and gentle sweetness.
Expect grapey, floral aromas of orange blossom, peach and honeysuckle, a soft, off-dry to sweet palate and a lively, refreshing sparkle. It is light and easy to drink, with a pleasant fruity finish. Like most sweet sparklers, it is meant to be enjoyed young and well chilled, when the fruit is at its most fragrant and the bubbles lift the sweetness so the finish stays fresh.
Serve well chilled with fruit, light desserts or soft cheeses, or enjoy it on its own as a gentle after-dinner sparkler.
