Description
Cricova Red Reserve is a sparkling red wine from Cricova, one of Moldova's best-known producers, celebrated for its enormous underground cellars. Sparkling reds are a festive, uncommon choice for the table.
Expect dark berry fruit such as black cherry and plum, a touch of spice, and lively bubbles with a smooth, gently sweet finish typical of the style. It is a conversation-starting bottle for celebrations. Like most sparkling wines in this style, it is meant to be enjoyed young and fresh, with a steady stream of fine bubbles that lifts the fruit and keeps the finish clean.
