Description
Dalton Winery is an Israeli producer based in the Upper Galilee, known for kosher wines with a modern, fruit-forward style. Majestic is a kosher red from the Dalton range, positioned toward the higher end of the winery's blends. Blends allow a winemaker to combine the strengths of several grapes, building a wine with more complexity and balance than a single variety might offer.
A red blend of this sort usually combines ripe dark fruit such as plum, cherry and blackberry with spice and a touch of oak, finishing smooth and balanced with moderate tannins.
Serve at around 60-65°F with grilled meats, pasta, roasted vegetables or a cheese platter. A short breathing time in the glass can help the flavors come together. This wine is kosher.
