Description
Dalton Winery is an Israeli producer based in the Upper Galilee, known for kosher wines with a modern, fruit-forward style. The Reserve Merlot is a kosher, full-bodied take on the grape, made from Merlot and positioned above the winery's standard bottling. Merlot is valued for its generosity and softness, making it one of the most approachable red grapes and a dependable choice for everyday dinners and gatherings.
Merlot is generally the softer, plusher side of red Bordeaux varieties, with ripe plum, black cherry and red berry fruit, a touch of mocha or spice, and supple tannins that make for an easy, rounded finish.
Enjoy at cool room temperature with roast chicken, pork tenderloin, meatballs, pizza or a simple cheese board. It is a versatile red for guests with different tastes, rarely overpowering the food on the table. This wine is kosher.
