Description
Delord Armagnac is an Armagnac, a brandy from Gascony in southwest France. It is bottled in 750ml.
Armagnac is distilled once, usually in a column still, so it tends to be rustic and expressive, with prune, dried fruit, vanilla and oak spice. Aged in oak, Armagnac gains prune, vanilla and baking-spice notes over time, and it is bottled by age grade or vintage. It is traditionally served as an after-dinner digestif, at room temperature in a tulip glass.
Serve neat in a tulip glass at room temperature, or pair with dark chocolate and a cigar. Pair it with dark chocolate, roasted nuts, dried fruit or a good cigar. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place, and it will keep well once opened.
