Description
Diplomático 10 Year Vintage 2013 is a Venezuelan rum from the Diplomático distillery, a vintage-dated aged rum.
Expect notes of brown sugar, orange peel and vanilla, a rich, smooth palate, and a long, warm finish. Extended barrel aging typically rounds off the rough edges of rum and layers in baking spice, caramel and toasted wood.
Best sipped neat or over a large ice cube. Pour it neat or over a single large cube so you can taste how it evolves, and consider pairing it with dark chocolate or a good cigar. It makes a fine gift for rum drinkers and works well as a step up from everyday sipping rums.
