Description
Don Julio 1942 FIFA is an oak-aged añejo tequila from Don Julio, the Jalisco house founded by Don Julio González in 1942. This limited-edition FIFA mini holds Don Julio 1942, an añejo made from 100% blue Weber agave and aged a minimum of two and a half years in oak. An añejo is aged in oak for at least a year, which deepens the color and adds layers of vanilla, caramel and spice. The 50ml mini is handy for sampling before committing to a full bottle.
Expect the Don Julio 1942 profile of caramel, roasted agave and warm oak, smooth and rich on the finish.
Sip it slowly at room temperature or on the rocks, or stir it into a tequila old fashioned. Try it with churros, dark chocolate or smoked meats. A solid choice for sipping, gifting or anyone stepping up from reposado.
