Description
Don Julio Blanco is an unaged blanco (silver) tequila from Don Julio, the Jalisco house founded by Don Julio González in 1942. Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested only briefly, so it shows the purest expression of the agave. The 375ml half-bottle is an easy way to try it or keep a bottle on hand.
Typical of the style, the nose is bright with agave and citrus, leading to a peppery, mineral-tinged palate and a clean finish.
It is a natural choice for a classic margarita or paloma, and it also sips well over a single large ice cube alongside seafood or guacamole. A versatile bottle for everyday cocktails, backyard gatherings and parties.
