Don Q Añejo 7 Year is a Puerto Rican rum aged up to seven years, offering a smooth, balanced character.
Expect notes of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, a smooth, medium-bodied palate, and a warm, mellow finish. Extended barrel aging typically rounds off the rough edges of rum and layers in baking spice, caramel and toasted wood.
Sip it neat or over ice, or use it in an old-fashioned. Pour it neat or over a single large cube so you can taste how it evolves, and consider pairing it with dark chocolate or a good cigar. It makes a fine gift for rum drinkers and works well as a step up from everyday sipping rums.
