Description
Don Reyes Añejo is an aged rum in the añejo style, matured in oak for a smoother, rounder character.
Expect notes of caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, a smooth palate, and a warm finish. Extended barrel aging typically rounds off the rough edges of rum and layers in baking spice, caramel and toasted wood.
Sip it neat or over ice, or mix it with cola. Pour it neat or over a single large cube so you can taste how it evolves, and consider pairing it with dark chocolate or a good cigar. It makes a fine gift for rum drinkers and works well as a step up from everyday sipping rums.
