Description
Fairbanks White Port is a sweet, port-style fortified white wine bottled in the 750ml format. Port is made by adding grape spirit during fermentation, which halts the process and leaves natural sugars in the wine, resulting in a rich, sweet and higher-alcohol style.
White port-style wines are typically sweet and aromatic, with notes of honey, apricot, citrus peel and almond, and a warming, fortified finish.
Serve well chilled, on its own or over ice, or mix it with tonic and a slice of orange for a refreshing long drink. Once opened, it will keep for a few weeks if sealed and stored in a cool place.
