Description
Famous Grouse Smoky is a blended Scotch whisky from the makers of Scotland's best-known blend, built around a portion of peated malt to bring a gentle smoke to the familiar Grouse character. It is an approachable way into smoky Scotch without the intensity of an Islay bottling. Scotch whisky is made in Scotland and aged for at least three years in oak casks.
The nose shows soft peat smoke with a touch of rummy sweetness and dry wood. The palate is medium-bodied and balanced, with peat smoke, caramel and spice, leading to a long, slightly peaty finish.
Pour it neat or with a splash of water, or use it in a Scotch highball or a smoky Old Fashioned.
