Description
Cantina Gabriele is an Italian producer of kosher wines. This Chianti is a classic Sangiovese-based Tuscan-style red with bright cherry fruit. Single-variety red wines are made to show the character of the grape and the place it is grown, so each bottle offers a clear window into its style.
Chianti typically shows sour cherry, red currant and a touch of spice and herbs, with lively acidity and moderate tannins.
Serve at about 60-65°F with pasta in red sauce, pizza, roasted chicken or aged cheeses. A short breathing time in the glass can help the flavors come together. This wine is kosher.
