Description
Cantina Gabriele is an Italian producer of kosher wines. This Sangiovese has a deep ruby red color, and is a full-bodied wine with fine, silky tannins. Single-variety red wines are made to show the character of the grape and the place it is grown, so each bottle offers a clear window into its style.
Sangiovese is typically bright and savory, with sour cherry, dried herbs and tomato leaf notes, firm acidity and moderate tannins.
Serve at about 60-65°F with tomato-based pasta, pizza or roasted meats. A short breathing time in the glass can help the flavors come together. This wine is kosher.
