Description
Giant Bourbon Special Reserve is an American bourbon whiskey bottled at 750ml. As a bourbon it is made primarily from corn and matured in charred new oak, which gives the style its characteristic sweetness and depth. By law, bourbon is made in the United States from at least 51 percent corn and aged in new charred oak barrels, which gives it its signature sweetness.
Expect a profile typical of the style, with caramel and vanilla sweetness, a little baking spice and toasted oak on the finish. The body should be smooth and approachable, making it easy to drink on its own or mix.
Pour it neat or over ice, or use it in classics like an Old Fashioned or a bourbon and ginger ale.
