Description
Gilgal is a kosher label from the Golan Heights Winery in Israel. This Merlot (2022) is a medium-bodied red with cherry and red plum notes. Merlot is valued for its generosity and softness, making it one of the most approachable red grapes and a dependable choice for everyday dinners and gatherings.
Merlot is generally the softer, plusher side of red Bordeaux varieties, with ripe plum, black cherry and red berry fruit, a touch of mocha or spice, and supple tannins that make for an easy, rounded finish.
