Description
Glen Moray is a Speyside distillery in Elgin, and this 12 Year Old is matured in American oak, a cask style that tends to bring sweetness and brightness. It is a single malt Scotch bottled at 750ml and is an approachable way into Speyside whisky.
Expect a smooth, fruity profile typical of American oak maturation, with vanilla, honey and orchard fruit on the nose and palate, a little toasted oak spice, and a soft, gently sweet finish.
Enjoy it neat, with a splash of water, or over ice. It also works well in a Rob Roy or an Old Fashioned.
