Description
Glenfiddich 12 Year American Oak is a Speyside single malt matured in American oak casks, a style chosen to bring out a mellow, fruity sweetness. Glenfiddich is one of Scotland's most recognized single malt distilleries, and this bottle offers a lighter, sweeter take on its 12 Year Old. Single malt means the whisky comes from a single distillery and is made from malted barley in pot stills, so each bottle reflects its distillery's house style.
The nose and palate show pear, vanilla and honey with a hint of light oak. The body is smooth and gentle, finishing soft and easy.
Enjoy it neat, over ice or with a splash of water. It also works well in highballs and as a first single malt for newcomers.
