Description
The Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a classic Speyside single malt Scotch matured in a combination of traditional and American oak casks. It is among the best-known entry points to single malt Scotch and is bottled here at 750ml. Single malt means the whisky comes from a single distillery and is made from malted barley in pot stills, so each bottle reflects its distillery's house style.
Expect floral and fruity notes of summer fruit and vanilla on the nose, a smooth, creamy palate with pineapple and citrus, and a gently sweet, lingering finish.
Enjoy it neat, with water or over ice. It also makes a smooth highball.
