Description
The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve is a Speyside single malt Scotch that honors Glenlivet founder George Smith and draws on the traditional distillation methods used long ago. Selected American first-fill oak casks add a smooth, creamy sweetness. Single malt means the whisky comes from a single distillery and is made from malted barley in pot stills, so each bottle reflects its distillery's house style.
Expect a delicate, fruity nose with citrus and orchard fruit, a creamy palate with honey and vanilla, and a clean, gentle finish. It is easy to drink without being simple.
Enjoy it neat, over ice, or in a highball. A good first single malt or an easy gift.
