Description
Hakushu 12 Year is a Japanese single malt from Suntory's Hakushu distillery, set in a forest in the Japanese Alps. The whisky is known for its fresh, green character and is among the more sought-after Japanese single malts. Japanese whisky is known for careful blending and a refined, balanced style influenced by Scotch traditions.
The color is champagne gold. The nose shows basil, pine needle and green apple. On the palate come sweet pear, mint and kiwi, followed by a finish of green tea and subtle smoke.
Serve it neat or with a splash of water, or in a highball over plenty of ice to bring out its refreshing side.
