Description
Har Bracha is a kosher winery in Israel's Samaria region. This Cabernet Franc (2016) has intense cassis and blackcurrant flavors with a hint of pepper. Cabernet Franc is a parent of Cabernet Sauvignon, and is prized for its aromatic, herbal and red-fruited style.
Cabernet Franc is typically medium-bodied, with raspberry, blackcurrant and pepper notes, a leafy herbal edge and supple tannins.
Pour it slightly below room temperature alongside burgers, braised short ribs, mushroom dishes or a hearty pasta with red sauce. Younger bottles benefit from a short decant, while a few more years in the cellar can soften the tannins further. This wine is kosher.
