Herzog Special Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a kosher red from Herzog Wine Cellars, built from Napa Valley fruit for celebrations and fine dining. Herzog's Special Reserve line is the winery's step-up tier for single-region, structured reds. Cabernet Sauvignon is the world's most widely planted red grape, prized for its depth, structure and aging potential.
Cabernet Sauvignon of this style typically shows blackcurrant, dark cherry and cedar on the nose, with a structured palate, firm tannins and a lingering finish.
Serve at about 60-65°F with grilled steak, lamb or aged cheeses. A short decant helps it open up. This is a kosher wine, suited to holiday and Shabbat tables. Expect concentrated blackcurrant, dark cherry, cedar and spice.
