Description
Herzog Napa Cabernet Sauvignon is a kosher red from Herzog Wine Cellars, made from Napa Valley grapes allowed extended hang time on the vine. It shows rich dark fruit, a polished structure and the depth of a serious Napa Cabernet. Cabernet Sauvignon is the world's most widely planted red grape, prized for its depth, structure and aging potential.
Cabernet Sauvignon of this style typically shows blackcurrant, dark cherry and cedar on the nose, with a structured palate, firm tannins and a lingering finish.
Serve at about 60-65°F with grilled steak, lamb or aged cheeses. A short decant helps it open up. This is a kosher wine, suited to holiday and Shabbat tables.
