Description
Herzog Quartet Blend is a kosher red blend from California, weaving together dark berry fruit, plum and spice. Quartet refers to the four grape varieties that Herzog combines in this wine. Blending allows a winemaker to combine the strengths of several varieties into one wine with more complexity than a single grape might offer.
Red blends like this are typically built for balance: ripe dark fruit, a touch of spice and oak, and smooth, rounded tannins from start to finish.
