Description
Hilhaven Lodge is an American whiskey bottled at 750ml, named for a storied Beverly Hills estate. It is positioned as a smooth, approachable whiskey for sipping and mixing. American whiskey is typically aged in charred oak barrels, which contribute vanilla, caramel and spice.
Expect a profile typical of the style, with notes of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, and a smooth, warming finish. Oak maturation also gives the finish its warmth.
Enjoy it neat, over ice or in a classic cocktail like an Old Fashioned. It suits barbecue, burgers and sharp cheeses. Store it upright in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight to keep it tasting its best.
